With a B.A. in English Literature from Denison University, she worked at Newsweek as an editorial assistant and for Mayers & Schiff Architects. She has taught Aesthetic Realism consultations to women since 1977, and is proud to be a coordinator for the Terrain Gallery, and for the international journal The Right of Aesthetic Realism to Be Known.

In preparation for her teaching and for public seminars given at the Foundation, she studies and writes about the lives and work of women in history and today, including early English writer Aphra Behn, educator and reformer Dorothea Dix, 20th century journalist Martha Gellhorn and photographer Lee Miller.

A speaker on subjects such as “The Most Popular Mistakes about Love—and How Not to Make Them!”; “The Drama in Women about Tenderness & Severity”; and “Despite Cell Phones & Email—Why Can’t People Really Communicate?”—you can read a selection of her seminars and published work, including articles and letters in the news on the economy, homelessness, and racism on her website, Nancy Huntting: Aesthetic Realism Consultant <http://www.nancyhuntting.net>.
