JOSEPH D. MEGLINO was born and grew up in New York City where he attended Manhattan College and received a BS degree in physics in 1974. Since 1975 Mr. Meglino has also worked for the NYC Department of Education as a Computer Specialist.
While in college he began his study of Aesthetic Realism. In 1975 he began to attend classes taught by Eli Siegel and was named an Aesthetic Realism consultant in 1977. As a consultant he teaches men in individual consultations and has presented many seminars on the questions facing men today, such as:
“What Men Most Need to Know About Ambition”
“What Goes Wrong—Love or the Lover?”
“Do Men Deceive Themselves About What They Really Want?”
He has written on the lives of notable men, including scientists Richard Feynman, Edward Teller and Edwin Hubble; and labor leaders John L. Lewis and William (Big Bill) Haywood.
His article on fatherhood titled “What Do Children Really Want From Their Parents?” was published in various newspapers. With his colleagues he presented a workshop for parents at the Park United Methodist Church in Bloomfield, NJ.
He is married to Pauline Fanning Meglino, who is also an Aesthetic Realism consultant and they have a grown son, who is currently in law school. |
