"The world, art, and self explain each other: each is the aesthetic oneness of opposites."—Eli Siegel

Singing Classes at the Aesthetic Realism Foundation

THE ART OF SINGING: TECHNIQUE AND FEELING
Carrie Wilson

The basis of this class is Eli Siegel's statement "All beauty is a making one of opposites, and the making one of opposites is what we are going after in ourselves." Through vocal exercises, choral and individual work on songs, this class studies singing as a oneness of opposites: high and low, energy and accuracy, steadiness and flexibility, technique and feeling.

Alternate Fridays, 6:00 - 7:30 PM

Carrie Wilson, an Aesthetic Realism consultant, teaches how the same revolutionary principle of aesthetics--which explains how beauty in singing is the oneness of technical opposites--is true about love!  In the New York Trend: The Pulse of Urban Music, Art, and Issues, Ms.Wilson describes this fact in an article titled "So, What Is Love? — The Thrilling Answer in Aesthetic Realism."
